To Nekome:
Good Evening! ^__^
I thought I'd stop by and personally thank you for taking the time to favour most all of my Saiyuki: Barrel of a Gun series. That's very kind of you and hope you enjoyed viewing the works in the same capacity that I enjoyed their creation so many years ago.
I'd like to thank you for your support and invite you to return to my Gallery whenever you like. You'll find I specialized in works by Kazuya Minekura rather prolifically for some time. ^__^
Warmest Regards,

Friend Dream! ^__^
Thank you for your kind entry into my guestbook and for the link! I made use of the Download feature and watched that extraordinary Amano video with great zeal! An absolutely marvellous collaboration of frame-to-frame animation, one excellent painting after another. Thank you very much! ^___^

I've not heard from you in a little while either, my friend! Write in and let me know how you've been!
I've just updated my user page with new MTM reader headlines and a countdown timer. Also, new film and book titles have been added to the Top Fives lists!
No new art releases yet, but soon enough to come once I get all my studies out of the way!

Take care, until next time! ^___^ :D :D :D

Hello There C. Kitty!
Thank you very much for stopping by my user page and leaving such a nice comment in my guest book! Why, you're most welcome! And congratulations! I wouldn't have guessed that Little Village was your first CGI piece by any means. I was very surprised to find out it was! It's absolutely wonderful! ^___^ Very well done!
I was having another look at it this morning and thought to myself (while thinking on shadows) that you got away with lack of definition quite well in this instance. The reason why is because one could imagine the day being entirely overcast although the skyline is clear. But like I said, it doesn't matter in the slightest. Getting hung up on technical details only destroys the emotion of the piece. You paint and draw what you feel within and what your mind's eye sees, not what other people expect to see. That's the dangers of this community, I feel. If you aren't cautious and strong-minded you can get caught up making art for the masses (which is disposable) when you should be making art for yourself! (Which is most important)

But I really strongly appreciate pastel colours. It turned out more than I okay, I promise you! Little Village will be a work favoured by those whom have an acquired taste for it, but I assure you, like most other pieces in your gallery, it's an absolute winner all round! :D :D :D

Well, enough from me now. However, I'd like to invite you back to my User Page and gallery whenever you like! I'd be delighted to hear from you again and of course, I have your name on my Watch List so I'll be all too happy to review future productions and (later on) classic pieces that make up your gallery today! ^__^
Warmest Regards Friend,

Hello There Saikusa! ^__^
I wanted to stop by and thank you for leaving such pleasant commentary on in my guest book! I'd like to invite you back to my gallery whenever it pleases you!
I really enjoy leaving insightful commentary on all submissions I come across, I'm likewise always pleased when Members return feedback with their own illuminations and ideas on the work in question. I feel it makes for very good exchanges of ideas and inspirations. It is possible that in the near future one of your Dogs scans (with your permission, of course) may well be created into an artwork by me. I think I should like that very much! ^__^
And while on the topic, I paid a visit to your Saikusa Taisen website and thought a great deal of it! All your images are absolutely top class! I honestly look forward to the release of the Dogs manga series in English. I understand at the moment fan-translated chapters are available online so I'll get stuck into reading those soon enough!
Warmest Regards
Your Fellow Dogs Enthusiast,

Hello There Kiera Ann! ^__^
I thought I'd stop by to thank you for your enthusiastic (if not a little sparse) commentary on two of my Barrel of a Gun artworks! Thank you for your support! :D :D :D I'm glad you enjoyed them and hope they bring a smile to your face for a long time yet to come! ^___^ It's always nice to hear from a fellow Minekura enthusiast. I'd like to invite you to come back and visit my gallery anytime you like! I've quite a few Minekura and Saiyuki related artworks and will soon produce another! ^__^ (Keep your eye on my Coming Soon teaser gallery where I've got a preview of a work entitled Personal Jesus!)
Warmest Regards, ^___^

Ice Hand My Friend! ^__^
Thank you for stopping by to sign my guest book! You're welcome there at any time. Likewise for discussing with me some of the finer details of your intentions with your Sin In Red artwork. :D
Hehe, my reference to the moral dilemma regarding the chatter that surrounded that piece was based on the discussion as to whether or not it was or wasn't obscene in nature. That of which naturally lead to - as you mentioned yourself - talk of whether or not the item would be deleted. I personally should hope not. I feel good about the piece and would you get a maturer audience viewing it; then hopefully they should as well! ^__^
Meanwhile, please feel free to drop by my own gallery or user page any time! I'd be all too happy to receive your conversation! :D :D :D
Warmest Regards,

Hello There Friend Kokuyu! ^___^
If you pardon the old British adage for a moment: "GAWBLIMEY!"
And you must be thinking to yourself about now: 'What the hell was that in aid of?'
And I would answer most truthfully that a few hours ago I received some grand favour for selected artworks from my gallery by Member: Toya999 whom I see you also favoured her artwork entitled 'Butterflies of the Night'. (And with good reason, beautiful piece isn't it?)
But more to the point: When I visited Toya's user page in order to leave an appreciative comment on her guest book, I couldn't help but notice your photograph in her Hot List! AND WHAT A PHOTO, I SAY!
I simply had to stop by and say that you Kokuya, by far have submitted yourself in one of the most interesting presentations of obscure makeup that I have recently had the pleasure to lay eyes on. And that alone warrants my coming around and giving you a virtual handshake. In other words: Damn you're cool! ^___^ hehehe ~____^
And while I feel we could all do with a little less of Mana's notorious appearances on the front cover of Japan's famous Gothic Lolita Bible, I couldn't possibly fault you for your admiration.

And conclusively for this introduction, I couldn't help but notice your mention on the passing of Mrs. Ng Loke Chee. I submit to you my friend, my whole-hearted sympathies on your tragic loss, pro-offering my deepest condolences, and if you allow me, my sincerest wishes that Buddha bless her beautiful immortal soul and that her re-return to Mother Earth see her happy having basked the love of her grandchildren.
Such a loss can only be understood by first hand experience for which I humbly submit I previously endured.
My Warmest Regards To You,
UV

Hello Friend Toya! ^__^
I couldn't help but notice you paid a visit to my gallery recently and favoured a few of my pieces simultaneously. While I mightn't have a fancy graphic to show my appreciation for your support, I offer my words instead and thank you for your attention to my gallery whole-heartedly! ^___^ I'd like to invite you to return any time and keep an eye on new works always ready for release! ^__^

Why, I could have sworn you had a full gallery filled with exciting art works! I came to visit and have a look through and leave a few comments here and there but lo and behold.....the cupboard was bare! (I've got to get some points for rhyming there don't I?) Hehehe ^__^
Alright then, that's enough from me.
Until very soon friend, take care :D :D :D

Dear Friend Rayl,
I wanted to write in and thank you personally for stopping by my guest book and leaving your excellent commentary. First and foremost, I must say it’s a pleasure to meet you. And likewise, without any disrespect to our fellow community members, lets just say that it seems, our ability is discourse seems to be more so related to being a British thing. Lol ^__^ Ahh, but that’s cruel of me. I really don’t mean it that way at all. What it is, is that like you I honestly understand the importance of elaboration when reviewing most anything. Naturally when it comes to being part of an anime-based art community, my priority as a member rests in extrapolating my genuine appreciation of an affiliated member’s artwork on a more, professional level, so to speak. That, and the fact that communicating has always been a forte of mine.

I’m very passionate about digital art as a modern medium and thus really enjoy discussing it’s creation and evolution from person to person. Naturally, I was delighted to find such coherent commentary in my guest book on your part. For the record, I have decided the endeavour would be fruitful, and have added you to my friend’s and watch list for further analyzation of present and future releases. (For much of your work leaves me inspired and intrigued) And have also taken the liberty of noting down both your email address and your YIM screen alias. The latter of which I enjoy using mostly for live international communication.

I look forward to being in further contact with you presently.
My Warmest Regards To You,
Your Fellow Digital Paintbox Companion,

Hello There Kaisiui,
I wanted to pop around and thank you for commenting on my guest book. I really enjoyed my visit to your Group. As it were, I'm presently not a member of any MT group. It's mostly due to time restraints that keep me away. My general movement can sometimes be unpredictable and I'd hate to be a dead weight while I'm gone especially if I'd like to enthusiastically contribute to the group if it's based on something I enjoy as much as the other members.
Thus, many thanks for that warm invitation. Of course, I should like very much to pay your group a visit and leave a little message in your guest book every now and then when I'm around. And when situations change, I'd be all too happy to hit that join button. Meanwhile, if I produce a Valentine work, I'm happy to have you be the first to know about it!
Meanwhile, however, I'd like to invite you to my own gallery when you have the time. Have a look around, leave your mark on pieces you enjoy most. I'd be all too pleased to hear from you! ^__^

Hello There Katen,
You know, I always liked receiving feed back from the people I leave feed back with in the first place. And thus, I wanted to thank you for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment in my guest book. As a fellow Hellsing appreciative your work was well worth my stopping by. I hope to see more from you in the future and perhaps even get my hands on that Hellsing Art Book you mentioned. You wouldn't happen to have any more details on it would you dear? ^__^

Hello There Dementia,
Thank you for stopping by my user page and leaving some nice conversation in my guest book! It was a fluke that I found your gallery. I'm not entirely sure how I did now....ah yes, I remember. I was online at the exact same time that you happened to have submitted your latest artwork. The one entitled First Class Script. Curiosity took hold, considering I'm also a fan of the Res Evil games and films and I went for a wonder about your gallery and decided to leave my mark on a few. It was my pleasure to do so, honestly. And likewise to my adding you to my watch list. I did so, because I noticed that your wall artworks keep spinning around genres that I too like best and likewise reflecting a style I equally appreciate in one way or another.

Now, with regards to The Sandman series. Believe it or not I only started reading the comic series for the first time since I heard about it (eight years ago) earlier on this month when a friend pushed the first three volumes into my hands and said: "Read them damn you." Since then, I haven't been able to get enough actually and am presently buying one comic novel a week to add to my collection. With regards to Gaimen's literary work, the truth of the matter is no, I've not yet read American Gods nor any of his novels. For shame, I'm sure. But I'm a prolific reader and will surely ingest the text over the coming months. I look forward to the encounter. At present I'm re-reading all seven of Kikuchi's English translated Vampire Hunter D novels. They're much better the second time around.
I wonder, have you read those my dear?

Meanwhile, I look forward to viewing your creations and likewise invite you to visit my gallery whenever it suits you. I've got some absolute horrors there (mostly early submitted experimental pieces) right down to my modern day classics which I'm much more content displaying. View my Hellsing works while you're there, you may like my work White Hunger best.
All The Warmest,
You're fellow paintbox addict,

Hello Again Friend! ^__^
First and foremost, thank you very much for stopping by my gallery and commenting on some of my works! lol Oh, I knew you'd like White Hunger, that was one of my most highly renowned pieces. That and Black Romance although the latter I now have reservations about. I might discuss them in a BACKCHAT edit on the piece or I may leave it. However, I know what you mean about that work, it's the kind of art that does make for a good night's rest. ;) lol ^__^ That comment of yours put a smile on my face, thank you! I really needed it too considering I've come down with this god-awful cold at the moment. Bloody thing, it's been circulating around my family and I've fallen victim to it at last even though I was fighting it off for weeks before hand. Oh well.

Oh, and what's more, thank you for your opinion on Biomechina! I appreciated that best of all. I knew it was a difficult piece that certainly wouldn't attract any attention but I wanted it to speak in whispered tones to those that did stop by and give it a good look. The fact that it made you consider it in such a way is a satisfying notion for me. My mission has been completed, so to speak.

Now, considering the deeply philosophical and intensely controversial nature of de Sade's work, I understand all his releases were banned from certain states in America some time ago. This discusses why you may find it difficult to lone his works from your local library or purchase them from a favourite book store. I'm not certain that ban is still present now so it's certainly worth your looking into the next time you're at a bookshop or library. You may be able to find selected works and not others, however, regardless the piece, if you're dedicated then I label it recommended reading. His vulgarities are not honestly the monstrosities word-of-mouth has made them out to be over the past two hundred years.
To answer you directly, I was very easily able to purchase a copy of his renowned title Betrayal or A Magistrate Mocked from the Classic Literature section of my book store (and every other in the country) without so much as a bat of the eyelid from the store clerk. If you have problems however, send me a little email about it; my email address is located on my user page. I'll be happy to speak with you! ^__^

Anyway, enough from me my friend, I'm off to work and I'm taking my cold with me.
Until Soon,
UV

Hello Baka,
When you're next available online here at MT, I'd like to invite you to view a work of mine heavily inspired by a work of yours. :)As the original source of inspiration, I'd thought I'd advise you directly about my release of Click // TrueXS and thank you personally for being the idea's instigator. I've admired your Peace/Chaos work for a very long time. The rest you'll understand after your visitation to TrueXS.
My Warmest Regards,

Hi There Strike! :)
How goes you friend?
Thank you for stopping by and commenting on my guest book as well! I really appreciated the commentary and your support! ^__^
You asked some interesting questions while there, now, let me see....favourite anime series, eh? Hmm, tough call that one. There's plenty out there and while a great deal of them can be fairly mediocre, every now and then you can come up against an absolute classic or two. Much like anything, it depends a great deal on what your interests are. I'm much for horror, sci-fi and action therefore my present collection consists of titles such as Trigun, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Get Backers, Cowboy BeBop, Saiyuki, Night Walker and Hellsing. Recently however, there are quite a few modern (adult) titles being released which I would also highly recommend such as Trinity Blood, Speed Grapher, Hellsing Ultimate, Ergo Proxy, Gun X Sword and Samurai Champloo.
As you can see from this list already, it's difficult to pick a favourite. I tend to watch each title from an objective point of view and absorb it one piece at a time. However, an all-time modern classic well worthy of your watching, I would say to be Samurai Champloo. If you've not seen or already own this series yet, I recommend renting it by any means needed. Its a brilliant piece of work and the experience will leave you on the edge of your seat. Enjoy it! :) Meanwhile, the next series I intend to view is certainly the new noir philosophical release, 'Ergo Proxy'. I hear it's quite the mind-screw. Hehe ;)
Now, with regards to your avatar, if you do happen to have a large and colour copy of this work, I'd love the chance to see it! Please do feel free to email me a copy. My email address is located on my user page. There's something distinctive about the character. If I were allowed the chance to view a larger live image I'm quite certain I'd be able to pinpoint who he is exactly.

Well my friend, I'm off again to graphic programs, I've got all these wonderful ideas and the need to release them as digital art grows all the stronger!
Peace & Love,
UV

Hello There Daday! :)
I wanted to stop my and express my appreciation for the warmth and support in your words regarding my work in the piece: Blade Mother. More often than not its difficult to get members to discuss how a particular work made them feel. But your kind words are an inspiration for which I'm grateful. I'd like to invite you back to my gallery whenever you feel and likewise, I will continue to produce works that should inspire conversation as warm as yours.
My Warmest Regards To You,

Hello There Daday! ^__^
I hope you're doing well, friend!
A little while ago you were kind enough to stop by my Nana submission entitled 'TrueXS' and leave your thoughts as well as your favour. I've been meaning to stop by and answer your questions sooner only time's been most strict with me lately. :)
Now, as to your line of conversation:
Actually, no, believe it or not, I've known about the NANA manga, anime series and films for quite some time but I've never actually gotten around to reading or watching either. I understand the general plotline of the story. That two young women each sharing the name Nana (which interestingly enough means: 'no name' in Japanese) happen to live together as the best of friends yet with entirely different social circumstances. Our primary Nana is the front woman for a progressive Punk Rock band named 'The Black Stones' while her name sharing companion is a tender hearted and more so reserved character. And that the rest of the story bubbles around the interpersonal relationships, life and times of these women respectively. I don't doubt it would be a good read and likewise a good watch. Actually I'm not certain why it is that I wasn't drawn to it more so before. Perhaps it has to do with my penchant for enjoying action and horror.

However, recently I found a dramatic manga series written by Mitsukazu Mihara named: 'The Embalmer'.
It's more of an adult series really. All about a young man name Shinjyurou Mamiya who's profession as a mortician has him specialize in the practice of embalming. The concept is difficult to understand in Japan and thus the story reflects on Shin's experiences with medical and public misconception as well as confronts the very hard topic of death. It's a difficult series to read but I find reflective poise within the over all text.

Well, that's enough chatter from me for the moment. I'll see if I can keep an eye open for the Nana series over the next few weeks and let you know my thoughts as I progress. Likewise you may be interested in noting that soon enough I'm gearing up to release a second Nana inspired wall artwork called 'Roll Over Revolution'. There's a teaser preview in my User Page 'Coming Soon' section if you'd like to pay a visit when next you're around.
Drop me a line anytime! ^__^
Warmest Wishes,
UV

Hello Sayurit! :)
I wanted to stop by and thank you personally for your kind commentary on Raison D'etre. More often than not it's difficult to get more than two lines out of viewers that express just how the work made them feel. And thus, in light of this, I wanted to come around and express my appreciation to your manner of conversation and your study. I'm very grateful. And if ever you find yourself in a book store that sells manga readily, do ask for TokyoPOP's 'Petshop of Horrors' title. Its more for an adult audience, but I highly recommend it and think you'll enjoy it. Then let me know what you think about it.
My Warmest Thanks To You,

I wanted to express my appreciation of your support by leaving a comment in your guest book and inviting you back to my gallery whenever you like! :) I'll be releasing new artworks to the MT public periodically post-return. As a matter of fact, I'm about to unleash a new one right now. ;)
Also Strike, I couldn't help but notice your avatar. I feel I recognize this character. Could he be that fellow from the anime series 'Agentosama'? When you're next around, do let me know, I've had my eye on that series for some time but haven't as yet actually gotten around to watching it!
All in all, thank you once again,
